The Planned Giving Forum of Greater Sacramento (PGFGS) is a professional organization that provides educational opportunities and resources for planned giving professionals; promotes planned giving as an effective philanthropic option for donors; and offers a networking system for practitioners and professional advisors.

Members of PGFGS include nonprofit development officers, consultants, and other financial or legal professionals interested in gift planning. PGFGS holds six to eight educational seminars each year to advance the local nonprofit sector’s understanding of the incredible opportunity presented by planned giving. With $59 trillion expected to be transferred to the next generation by 2061, the potential is enormous and PGFGS’ focus is to make that opportunity accessible to our nonprofit community. Members of PGFGS may also join the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (formerly PPP).
